Today’s Lesson:

phonto

Today we’re going to do something a little different. No app review today as I want you to concentrate on one thing: documenting your day. I know this time of year is extremely busy for most of us, and it’s incredibly hard to believe we’re almost half way through December already. I have to constantly take a deep breath and remind myself to slow down and enjoy the little things. So that is your task for today: slow down and enjoy all the little things. If you can, document it in photos. Take as many as you can. You don’t have to share them if you don’t want to, but we’d love to see them if you do. Take photos of things that don’t seem significant now (but they may later). Examples: your breakfast, a street sign, the clothes you are wearing today, the mail you bring in, your desk mid morning and then late afternoon, a store sign that you shop at, groceries you buy, your dog lying on the couch…..

We’ll call this: Snapshots of my day

If you blog, I also add an extra challenge for you: blog about today. Share some of your photos on your blog. I promise you that you will love looking back on it one day. It’s often the little things that we tend to overlook but really they can mean so much. If you do blog about this, please add a link in the comments so we can visit your blog.

If you post on instagram tag today’s photos as #snapshotsofmyday

Remember there are bonus challenges in the daily emails.   Be sure to tag us (#snapshot30 , @jessacs & @homeketeers) so we can see your photo. You can also post your photo on our facebook page for everyone to see. (and you’ll get bonus entries into the contest!). I’ll also be playing along so you can see my daily challenge photos on my blog and also my Instagram account.

Please leave any comments or questions below and I will be sure to answer right away 🙂
