Hershey Kiss Pretzel Bites Recipe

This is one of my favorite Holiday recipes so I wanted to share it. If you’re looking for something quick & easy to make that is a sure crowd pleaser – here it is. My only advice – make lots – these tend to disappear very fast ๐Ÿ™‚

What you’ll need:

Hershey kisses (or hugs)

M&M’s

Pretzels (the smaller square shaped ones work best)

1. This is the most time consuming portion of the whole process – unwrap all those kisses and place one on each pretzel (laid out on a baking sheet with parchment paper on top)

Bake at 200 degrees farenheit but only for a few minutes. As each oven is different you will really need to test it the first time you make these. Leave them in for a few minutes then test to see how soft the chocolate is. They are ready when you are able to fully push an M&M all the way down to the pretzel.

HINT: Make sure you do not overcook these as the chocolate will then harden and you won’t be able to put the M&M on top.

HINT: The hugs tend to soften quite a bit faster than the regular hershey kisses so I recommend not mixing them on the same tray.

2. Once the chocolate has softened, pull the tray out of the oven and quickly push an M&M into the center of the kiss. Push it all the way down.

3. Put the whole tray right into the fridge (or freezer) so the chocolate can harden. Leave them in for at least an hour, then transfer them to a container and cover.

Try experimenting with different flavors of Hershey Kisses and M&M’s. My favorite combos are the Hershey Hugs Peppermint with the milk chocolate M&M’s on top, and then the Chocolate Hershey Kisses with the Peanut Butter M&M’s on top. So yummy!!! These delicious little morsels do not last long in my house!
