I can’t believe it, but my once upon time baby boy is graduating high school this year. It seems surreal to me as I can still vividly remember his first day of Kindergarten. The tears he shed when I left, and the tears I shed once I was in my car.
It seems like just yesterday he was that tiny thing running on the playground chasing his friends, and now I am getting ready to send him off to college. We have started all the senior graduation traditions. Senior Pics, graduation notices, open house plans and of course, like we did with the older three when they were in high school, we headed over to Jostens.com to pick out a class ring.
This year we are looking at the Jostens ShadowCast Rings for him. I love that we can build the ring on the site and get it exactly how he would like it. The Roped Signet ring from Jostens and Jostens Roman Numeral Rings are awesome. They make me wish I could order myself a class ring again.
So far we have the Carson (love that it is the same name as the youngest boy) selected, with my sons birthstone. I did require all the children use their birthstone in their rings, I had one want to do another stone… I think the While Lustrium with Shadowcast looks amazing and I am really excited to see his final ring when it comes in.
It has been interesting how different each of my four older children’s tastes have been when it came to their class rings. But the one thing they all in common, we always buy Jostens. I love the tradition in it and they love their rings.
Even my husband and myself have Josten class rings, I think the tradition of everyone getting their ring from the same jeweler is one that should love on for every family. I mean how many people think of class rings without thinking of class ring day at school. Take a look at the ShadowCast rings by Jostens and see what they have to offer now, vs when we were in school.
I am also of the mindset that I should I get a class ring each time a child graduates for all the years as room mom, coach, and field trip group leader… That means four new rings for me. I think I will starting building my new Mom Class rings now.
