How To Make a Simple Flat Paper Bow

Day 4 of 30 days of craft tutorials for National Crafting Month

Today’s tutorial is for a simply little adorable paper bow.  These will work for gift wrapping as well as scrapbook pages.

Materials:

  • Paper
  • Adhesive – I prefer roll glue for this
  • Scissors
  • Template (click on image below)

Step One: Cut out template and lay on your paper

Step Two: Cut out your bow

Step Three:  Apply adhesive to center and bring in the edges to center.  Glue down

Step Four:  Apply adhesive to center of bottom paper ribbon piece

Step Five:  Attach your bow.  Done

A few variations:

  • add embellishments to the center of the bow for different looks
  • attach a gift tag to the bow with a baby clothes pins

I chose to use the 2.5″ and 2″ width patterns. If you dont have a Silhouette you can find patterns here and here. […]
