I am looking at crockpot meal recipes, breakfast to dinner right now. Being how we are staying in a hotel until 08/15/12 (Temporary Tourist), we get into our Condo at that point, but even though we have a full kitchen, I have found cooking something up in a crockpot while we are off doing Walt Disney World really does make life easier. Today I made an old classic, Onion Beef Roast.
A Chuck Roast
1 can of Cream of Onion Soup
1 Can of Cream Of Celery Soup
1 container of Beef Stock
1/2 of a large yellow Onion
1 Can of water
Put it all in the crockpot – cook on high for 4 hours, then low for 3 more. If I was going to do it for all day, then I would do it on low for 10 hours.
Our Crockpot Menu for the next couple of days:
Shredded Chicken Tacos –
5 frozen chicken breasts
Pace Picante – Medium
1 can of Chopped Green Chilies
Put it all in your crockpot and let it cook on high for 6 hours, if it is still “juicy” then pour it into a frying pan and fry off the juice. Put in taco shells, add lettuce and cheese.
Turkey Breast –
a prepackaged frozen turkey breast, a can of chicken broth, 1/4 of a large yellow onion (chopped) – Put it all in the crockpot and let it cook on low for 10 hours.
If you have a recipe you recommend, please pass it on!
